DESCRIPTION
Maca is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. She and her sister Tea are survivors of a heavy forest fire blight, which was intentionally caused by an irresponsible person, and ended up terrified and in a pound of Northern Spain, at 2 months of age.
Sadly, 2 years later, Maca and Tea are still waiting to find their families.
They've grown up at the rescue site, surrounded by other dogs, but they have yet to experience the world and to learn all about life in a family.
They are both nervous and wary, as they've had such little exposure to new people, handling and new environments, so they will both need understanding, patient homes, to help them settle in their own time.
They are very sweet-natured and affectionate once they trust you.
Maca is the more active and protective of the two sisters. We feel she would benefit from an experienced, child-free home, with people who have lots of time to dedicate to her care.
She would do best in a rural environment with a fully fenced garden, and preferably another four-legged friend to help guide her as she settles in to her new life in a home.
After being overlooked month after month, they deserve to finally find their own loving homes.
Maca can travel to the UK (she can be adopted in England or Wales, but not Scotland). She will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for Mediterranean diseases.
