DESCRIPTION
Mattia first came into our care as a tiny puppy, abandoned at the pound by the people who were supposed to care for him.
When he first arrived, he was absolutely terrified of people. It was so heartbreaking to see a little puppy cowering in fear and trying to hide, we can only imagine what kind of start he had in life.
Thankfully, he ended up in a very kind foster home, who showed him how fun life could really be. With them, he has grown used to human company, the presence of other dogs, and lots of time playing and exploring in nature. He has really blossomed in their care- but over a year later, he's still waiting to find his forever home.
The longer he stays the more attached he becomes, but he cannot stay with them forever. He really deserves to find his forever home, who will give him the security, training and affection he needs.
Mattia is a very active boy, who would really thrive in a countryside environment. He loves being outdoors, playing, exploring and having fun - he is social with dogs and cats, and he loves cuddles.
We would prefer a rural home with a garden, as this is what Mattia has been used to until now, and we feel this set up would help him if he feels nervous during the first few months in his new home. He will travel to the UK neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for Mediterranean diseases.
