Poor Moncho arrived at the pound as a 7 month old puppy, abandoned by the people who were supposed to care for him. And heartbreakingly, he has been there every since.
He has spent the formative months he should have been enjoying time playing, learning new things and exploring the world, shut behind bars in a tiny cage. No walks, no affection, no mental stimulation. Can you imagine what that feels like for a young, energetic dog?
We desperately want to see Moncho in a home of his own, but as he is a Pitbull mix, he cannot be adopted in the UK. He will need to be re-homed to someone already living in Spain, and willing to take out the insurance and license required for this breed.
As a black, Pitbull mix, Moncho's chances of adoption are much less likely than another dog. But this lovely boy is still young and full of life, and he desperately needs to find a loving home of his own.
